Well the outside temp is 72* the truck temp reads 140* (three miles from home) stopped at the red light then turned right and I could hear the fan. BTW the AC was charged by the dealer yesterday (told me it was overcharged by 2.5# :E) other then that truck is 100%. Think maybe some of you are making a mountain out of a molehill here.
OP take the truck to a radiator shop and have them flow test it if you really want to find out what is wrong with your truck! Otherwise keep running around in circles asking questions here!

You are hearing the fan because of the AC, not the coolant temps.
The coolant temps and swings the OP is seeing is not normal.
