Range AND short charge time. No one wants to sit an hour or two waiting. I know, overnight with that range, but where can you find a campground with charge stations? Even now, folks that want FHU or even just E-W have a tough time unless you go to a private location. How many camp in NP or SP?? And how many have charging stations, or even the capacity to build some or enough for that market.
We're a ways from that, but have embarked upon that journey as slow as it might be with today's technology.
Might be a misunderstanding here. The level 2 charger is built into the EV. The EVSE that comes with the EV plugs into any 14-50 50 amp site. Many parks have 50 amp service.
KOA has already started to install pedestals with J1772 cords. The industry will follow. Campgrounds like revenue streams.
We towed an electric vehicle as a toad for years. No problems finding campgrounds that allow charging. They like money just like everybody else. :).- FishermanExplorerRange is one thing, range and being able to do it with a load and/or pulling a trailer is a whole other ball of wax. Going 500 miles empty isn't worth a second look if they can't make something to pull a trailer, (20') for maybe a third of the distance before the bunny dies.

This should fix your range anxiety.

That’s terrific! The key to selling electric trucks is range.
The key to selling electric trucks, to RVers, is definitely RANGE. This has yet to be accomplished and probably will take much longer to achieve. - LwiddisExplorer IIThat’s terrific! The key to selling electric trucks is range.
