dodge and allison transmissions
Now I got a 99 V10 dodge ram 2500, I have put 3 transmissions in it in 10 years. Its a work truck obviously... But I wanna throw an Allison transmission in it. Is it possible? please let me know

If you rebuild a weak transmission using OEM Mopar parts, you aren't addressing the shortcomings. A 47RE/48RE that's built right will last the life of the truck, even behind an engine making big power.
There have been a few Dodge's with Allisons put in them, on various Ram forums.
There have been far more Duramaxes with built 47RE/48RE's in them, big-power guys on the Duramax forums. Google it...
