  • So why don't you do a bing or google search on the internet for dodge diesel customer reviews and read them? You are even allowed to read the reviews on Edmunds.com.
  • You are a few years late for getting a Dodge truck, since they no longer make trucks. But, Ram Trucks makes a pretty good truck with a Cummins Diesel engine. Just look at how many applications use the Cummins ISB Engine, Between Motorhomes, Ram Trucks, Ford MDT, School Busses, ETC.
  • I had a 2007 Mega Cab with the 5.9 and now an 2011 Mega Cab with the 6.7 both 3500 dually and have no problems. I would buy another and to think I was a Ford man at one time...
  • Well I have had a 2003 3/4 ton Laramie, a 2012 Laramie 1 ton dually, and now a 2014 Longhorn 1 ton dually. All are oil burners. If I was not happy I would of gone elsewhere.
  • Such an open ended loaded question. All manufacturers have their share of both positive and horror stories when it comes to diesels.

And because someone says their 2004 has been flawless doesn't mean much when it comes to new truck with all the emissions equipment they have these days. THAT is where most of issues tend to be with these new trucks regardless of manufacturer. YOu can thank the EPA for that.
  • 2 Dodge Dakotas (gas)......drove them over 230,000 miles....no exceptional problems

Driving a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 (diesel of course)....NO problems, getting good mph....(better than the Dakotas!!!).
  • No problems yet with my '07 3500. I just changed the differential and transfer case fluids a couple weeks ago and they were surprisingly good looking. I only have 90,000 miles on it so far though. Actually I had a problem with the dpf filling up no matter how hard I drove it but it's ran excellent since deleted about 30,000 miles ago.
