- not sure what all the comments about the brakes are about, as long as the air tanks are full, the brakes will release, he will run out of air after a couple brakes and then the brakes will lock till he gets more air, or manually over ridden, but you most certainly do not need the truck running
- This guy's other setup is a mini-van that tows a 30' TT. Why is that Canadians are the ones that always seem to want to really push the limits? :p
- I would guess the guy pulling didn't want to be in front on the way down. I'd like to see that chain but don't think I'd want to carry it.
Mark - Air brake system needs compressed air (means engine running) to unlock the brakes or the log truck would not move.
How much life did this pickup driver take off the drive train/engine/frame of this Dodge? Not something I would do for ANY reason.

According to the person who posted the video the log truck was NOT running. Does anyone else see a problem with that?- Impressive, but im not to sure on the 140,000 lbs. Q1. If the logging truck was broke down and not running how did they get the air brakes on the trailer to unlock?
Q2. Was the space shuttle not available? - If I ever need to tow 70+ tons uphill, I will consider going back to a Dodge. In the meantime, my TV does just fine for what I ask it to do.
