I had 2 Rams with this tranny and never a stitch or hint of problem with the 48RE ,combined mileage 375,000.Nephew runs 8 Rams with the 48re in his heavy construction business and abuses everything way too much.He has had a shifting problem in a 2007 2500 to repair,don't know details.He also has some Fords but of course has had motor problems,don't think any transmission problems.Interestingly for what ever reason won't run GM,says he doesn't like them.
