Had to have the transmission rebuilt this fall at 142k. The torque converter went south and took out the transmission. The messed up part was I was told that the converter needed to be replaced about 8 months beforehand :S
Stock truck other then exhaust and air intake, trans serviced 5 times fuild and filter and band adjustment at 100k. Had I replaced the converter when I was told to the transmission would have been fine.
Pay a little now or a whole lot later!
