Dodged a bullet (tire failure)

Traveled from Md to Va and went camping for a week. While at the campground I climbed under the camper for something and found this bubble on my tire! There is no road hazard damage or marks by the bubble that caused this. I religiously check my tires before every camping trip and don't go over 60mph. (Except for the occasional 65/67mph coast down large straight hills) They have less than 5-6k miles on them.

I'm so glad I saw it before it blew. A blow out could have destroyed my camper. Luckily I had the gear to change it and a 12V air pump to get the spare tire back to 50psi.

The tire is a Power Touring Trail Express (load range C) Date code is 2011. 205 75 r14

Since my camper is a small TT and has only one axle. I"m going to replace the two tires and keep an older tire as a spare for now. (little low on funds to get all 3).

I am considering the Maxxis. Are these good and is discounttiredirect a good place to order these from?
