I run the lance Bed plug on both my trucks it will charge the batteries faster with the 8 gauge. My Dually F350 has both a fifth wheel and a lance bed plug. I never use the fridge in 12v but I could. Standard Alternator on both of my trucks. Hitch plug is occupied by my horse trailer
