No. My truck already had the standard outlet plug built into the side of the bed.
The camper dealer changed out the Lance camper's "special" plug to a standard seven pin connector as a condition of purchase.
The 400 watt solar charges the batteries while driving down the road or parked.
When I sell the camper it will be compatible with any trailer plug.
