Depends on where you camp.
We used truck campers for years before moving to rv trailers many years ago. We've gone full circle and at present want to get back to a truck camper for more off road or stop any place along the road ability.
Places we camp at times you can't get a 30' trailer/MH into it or even to the camp grounds.
Also depends on what type of traveler you are. We make no reservations as we have no idea where we may want to stop and spend one nite or a couple of days.
Now if you fall in the category of making reservations down the road then you can choose the campground that will accept your large unit ahead of time.
