Doh

I went to shoot some sunset photos. I thought I had closed and latched the back door. Came back as it was almost dark to the glow of the rear light and the dinette light only to see the back door wide open and swarms of flying insects about the lights. I just spent 30 minutes swatting the flying bloodsucking buggers inside the TC then using 409 to clean the bug carcasses and bug juice off the walls and ceilings...grumble grumble

at least I took some good photos

  • Those pictures look to me like the ordeal was worth it!

But- for future reference, here's a hot tip from one who's been there:

Best way to get light-attracted bugs out is the same way they got IN- attract them to light. All lights off inside, one bright light outside...five minutes and you're clear.

Do NOT turn any lights on inside until you've shut the screens again, though.
