dometic freezer door
freezer door was broken on used trailer
new or used doors proved to be expensive $120 plus
glued 1/4 inch tall acrylic spacers onto door panel under wgere pivots
glue 1/4 inch tall thick spacers to space away from door so a 5/16 rod coupler sat where the pivots used to be. added threaded rods to each of the couplers
screwed one rod out and slid it into the old hole in the fridge where the pivot once was.
moved opposite end to where opposite hole is and screwed the rod out to enter the hole
the door now pivots perfectly will add a magnetic catch. total cost for repair is a couple of dollars and expoxy that was on the shelf
