Dometic thermostat

I recently replaced my 2007 Dometic a/c with the new Brisk Air 2. I have a Puma 38PFSKB. I was having previous problems with the fan speed switching to high and low at random times. I changed out the controller and thermostat with a new one but it did the same thing.

The new unit cools extremely well but the fan stays on high speed. I question the wiring of this thermostat because someone previously did some work on this. It is the 3316410 single zone. I have a white, green and red wire going to this thermostat but it seems to me to be connected to the wrong screws.

I would post a picture but I am not sure how to do that on this forum. The left screw says GR, the middle screw says COMMS and the right screw says 12V. How should the green and white and red wires be hooked up?
