Well congrats on getting a camper. It'll b fun.
Check your price on the torklift mounts though. I recall paying $5-600 for a complete set of truck mounts with basic turnbuckle hardware. Another $75 for a pigtail extension for the camper lights that you may not need and bed mats are $100 or less.
If you have several thousand wrapped up in getting your $800 camper onto your truck, somethings wrong. Shouldn't be that expensive.
Good luck all the same.
Hi GD, I'm shooting the numbers high so when it ends up being 3500.00 Im not as pissed at myself. LOL The Torklift kits were 800 and the spring loaded ties and turn buckles were another 200 I think. Mat was 107.00 Jacks were 600.00 I know the mattress is shot and looks a little gross. I'm thinking another 5-800 there. The plug which was a hell of a run around with the camper stores that I called ended up only being 30 bucks on Amazon(had to make it myself) I got a great tip from another forum that told me to not tell the supplier its for a Sunline or they will treat you like you have the plague. I need steps which I may fabricate, my truck sits too high for the factory step. I'm figuring in another 5-700 for incidentals like the towing company that's going to have to help me get it out of the middle of the road. :h
Thanks again!
Kindest regards
Ed
