Divide; separate; read each circuit with a multi-meter. Separately put a low charge on each battery to bring it up to 13.2v. Use a 'shorting' battery tester to see if it will stay up. If the reading drops to say 6v., it has a bad cell or is sulfated. Don't underestimate the ground wire. You need lots of ground connections. I always solder my connections when it doesn't need to ever be disconnected. It is the belt-and-suspenders of 12v wiring.

'zactly. Both batteries need to be tested separately.
