Morning testing results.
I forgot to mention that the monitor panel last night before I even tried to use the new batteries showed L which was a surprise...then of course the slide worked very slow then I tried lowering the jacks and that is when the system died.
This morning I pulled every fuse and did a continuity test on them and they all tested good. I cycled the breakers and the camper master switch on and off several times.
Camper Unplugged from truck and shore power, but solar charging taking place:
Batteries 14.47
Battery Leads to Converter: 13.67
Battery Leads to Battery: 13.67
Monitor Panel shows Charging (which it did not last night, even with the solar charger charging)
When plugged into shore power:
Batteries: 14.47
Battery Leads to Converter: 14.47
Battery Leads to Battery: 14.47
Monitor Panel shows Charging
I've run the slide in and out 4 times, each time holding down the monitor panel, which shows L during the operation as it should, then it goes to good then charging in 10-15 seconds.
I did not do the jumper test at this point. Since it seems to be working Mark, do you think it is still needed?
I think the problem might be something was loose or at least needed to be removed and re-installed. Of course there was a load of sawdust in the converter from the messy manufacturing process that I have now vacumed and blown out.
I am feeling cautiously optimistic that the problem is solved....
