A relay wouldn't be necessary if the proper normally open, momentary closed door jamb switch is wired in series with this rocker switch.
Not all slides are wired that way. My operating switch carries full load of the slide motor and a separate relay would be the way I would accomplish the OPs objective. Running a couple of 10 gauge wires to a door switch could be a real pain.
