We have been thinking about down sizing as far as demands of putting up the popup to a fiberglass molded like a Scamp. I did notice yesterday when opening up the zippered windows on the popup that it required more crawling then I remembered. At 60 years old, that is starting to make a difference.
I did though come across another choice. It is the bunk ends that are difficult to me. We have the electric thing that raises the top but this one doesn't have the bunk ends and still looks nice so it is on my "maybe" list: I know in the past that Palomino did a pretty good job with their popups.

Just thought this might be something others would want to consider. We really like the openness of the popup and really are reluctant to give it up to be in an enclosed box and we have had those types before always returning to a popup.
Have you looked at an "A" frame hardsided pop-up such as Aliner or Chalet?
Sorry did read the entire thread before posting. I see that the hardside popup has been mentioned.
FWIW we had bought a 2015 Jayco Sport 12HMD (Hardside popup) We had nothing but issues w/ the "coolcat" heatpump/AC. The dealer (Tennesse RV) bought it back and made use a great deal on a KZ.
