Down to a decision, give your vote on electric tongue jacks

Okay so I'm down to making a decision on 2 Electric tongue jacks.
One is a Barker® 27295 - White 3,000 lb Hi-Power Tongue Jack and the second is Jack Quick HH-3500-WHITE PLASTIC COVER 12-Volt Brute Power RV Electric Tongue and Trailer Jack - 3650 lb. Capacity
The Jack quick is 126.40 and the Barker is 138.00. Is one much better or would either be good? Help!

  • When I was doing my research and shopping the Barker 3000 was going to be my first choice. When I bought my TT it came with a Lippert power jack. Two weeks after bringing the TT home I found condensation under the light lens and under the rubber gasket for the manual lift operator. It is being replaced. I am disappointed in it's operation. It is very slow and I question it's longevity. At the price you mentioned, I think I'll get the Barker as a ready replacement.
  • Either one will be fine for your application.

I have the the Jack Quick.

  • Just judging by what I read on the Forum, most Barker owners are very pleased with their purchase. Curious---Where are you shopping for the Barker? That seems like a very good price.
