I have a feeling I am going a bit backwards from most but maybe not. I have gotten to the point in life where I am tired of hauling our 15,500lbs 40ft 5th wheel around and lugging a 300 pound hitch in and out of my truck. We miss the "simpler" times. So with that said we are in the midst of trading our BIG 5th wheel in on a 29ft Heritage Glen 263RL travel trailer. I would love to hear from some others you have made the jump "down" to a smaller rig and if it was a move that they still think was good or do they have regrets.

I went to 22 feet. Happy with all the great places where I “fit.”

Over 7 years ago I went from a 28' Class C that was our family camper while the kids were growing to a T@B teardrop. I love that little T@B, and use it way more often than the Class C. Much of that may have to do with the fact the kids are grown and on their own, however they join me/us some too with the T@B too. I just have too much fun with this little gem, and am as much, or more, in love with it today as when I purchased.

We downsized from a 30' to a 23' TT because the kids are grown. Pulls better, parks easier, and has more interior room. The only downside is not having those bunks in the rear to throw junk on.

I downsized from a 31 ft TT to a big pop up with a slide.

While the PUP was great we missed the TT. We went to small.

My Dad went from a 15,000lb fiver to an 8,000 lb and he is tickled to death. He plans on buying an Andersen Rail Mount Fiver Hitch at only 40 lbs its much easier to move around by hand.

I think you will enjoy the new RV.

I love my 20 foot TT. I have no wish to get bigger or smaller and I love the floor plan. Unfortunately, this TT is getting purdy rough around the edges. They don't make very many like this size and this floor plan. I just keep hoping the right one will come along someday and I keep using this one until it does.

We went down from 30 ft to 21 ft.
Much easier finding campsites in the state parks.

We started full timing in 2007 with a 40 foot diesel coach, had so many problems with it we unloaded it. Then went to a 38 foot 5th wheel, no real usable storage space. So now have a 30 toy hauling trailer. I like the trailer best, having the garage and the bed of the truck to haul things in. Easier to maintain, less to go wrong.
