They made a change sometime in 08 to help and I am sure other changes were made after that. I just put $2200 into my front end 2 weeks ago after experiencing the death wobble at 65 mph. Look up Dodge Ram 2500 death wobble on youtube and watch a few videos. I would not want to be hauling my 5th wheel when that happens. It happens on 3500's also.
My '07 got the death wobble as well, but my shop installed 3500 front end/steering parts in my 2500 as an upgrade to overcome this issue.
My process for quite some time has been to buy a 4-5 year old truck and drive it another 5-8 years,, and able to pay cash for the difference... doesn't help address the OP question, tho ...
