Dream TC Camp Spot

Looks like I am going to have to drive further than the south side of Branched Oak at site #81 lol. You guys have found some great sites, I can't wait for better weather to scout out some of them.

TC Life, I found out you become an empty nester all too soon. Kids grow up fast.

There are too many to list. We've been to hundreds of them. The thing to note is the variability of wonderful spots to camp. Of course I like the east side, Sierra Nevada as well as any, but we've had so many times where we pulled off down a jeep trail and found a quiet, pristine patch of ground to borrow for the night with a terrific view and natural surroundings.

my list of dream places to camp is large. we really enjoy the completely different places we camp through the year. that's a tough one to narrow down for me. what it really comes down to is... my dream camp spot is anywhere I am with my wife and son and our camper.

I like small high mtn lakes.

Cloud Peak Wilderness in the Bighorn National Forest Wyoming.
Have to park the Camper, either ride in on horse back or back pack in no driving. Use the camper as a base camp. Would be the ultimate camping trip for me. Have been reading about the Cloud Peak Wilderness for possible camping locations in the area.

Hey, I'm not endorsing a camp ground but check out Mile High Campground in the GSMNP . On the parkway close to Cherokee . I have not camped in it yet but I did go up and check it out on my motor cycle last fall. Beautiful views from all camp sights. Check it out if your on the east coast near Cherokee NC.
