We're answering a question posed by the OP......"IF" you have towed the SAME 5er with BOTH a SRW and DRW truck, which offered the most stability? Nothing more nothing less...nothing added in....just a question to us who have done this and our experience.

No one cut on the SRW truck, no one stated one NEEDED a dually...The poster asked and the majority who could answer the asked question gave their opinion and the majority stated, as in my case, the towing was more stable with the dually.....Not a cut on your SRW truck, you've already let us know that you don't need a dually and your towing is as stable as it can get.

BUT, those of us who can ACTUALLY answer the OP with the scenario he gave stated that "YES, the towing was more stable with the dually"...in every thread that has come up like this, the MAJORITY have stated the same facts....do the search....like it or not, it is what it is...no one is cutting on your SRW truck, just answering a question truthfully that we can answer from having been there, done that.....

I'll put another way just for you NC. If someone were to tell you that putting triples on your dually will make it much more stable you're going to the person is not understanding because your dually is not unstable. So it is with the new SRW trucks....they are stable....more stable is nonsense.

It's obvious, no matter what is said, you'll come up with something EVEN MORE foolish to state. No more nonsense on my part than on your's....Your truck works for you, mine works for me...I'm not cutting on your truck, but it's obvious again, one can't talk about a dually without you taking offense:h

ON EDIT: I will say, I got THIS thread confused with the other where someone had asked if one had towed their 5er with both a SRW and DRW truck, was there any difference as far as one "feeling" more stable than the other was concerned between the two..(they tend to run together), so for that, I apologize.

I don't see why one would need a dually if they can tow what they're going to tow with a SRW truck..ridiculous......No one stated that the SRW truck was "unstable", or that it was "unsafe" or that it couldn't handle the weight, (as long as it's not overloaded, but that too is in the eye of the beholder seeing as how no one goes by numbers anymore...just hook up and go because "everybody else is doing it. and the numbers mean nothing)....I'm covered and that's all I care about, AND having towed MY 5er over the same mountainous terrain with both a SRW truck and a Dually, my 5er, loaded to a lightweight 16,000#, with 3300# pin weight and almost 40' long, (quite small compared to some in here), the Dually has given me a more stable towing experience on the, once again, steep, mountainous, curvy secondary roads I've towed on in TN, NC and WV than the SRW truck did...just my experience, no need to lie about it, just what I actually experienced..
