We have had a few of each, wet bath TC's and dry bath TC's. Our present over 11' long floor Lance TC has a dry bath. Both do the job equally as well and my wife actually prefers the wet bath and wants it for our next TC as the toilet seat becomes a very nice shower seat but there's not any in a dry bath and not room for one either. Should we change TC again, she said she definitely want's a wet bath again. Why, comfort and no matter what some say, the honest truth is that you have to wipe down a dry bath shower just like you do a wet bath and both have a shower curtain so what difference does it really make? I'm open to either as it doesn't make a bit of difference to me as I'm in there to do a task, not using it as a lounge.
A wet bath has a floor drain so any water goes down and out leaving the floor dryer than your feet are just like in the dry bath shower floor too and then you step out of the shower with your wet feet anyway and there's no floor drain in front of the toilet. A dry bathroom sizes is larger and with hot shower water inside the bathroom especially when it's humid outside or cold exterior walls in the bathroom, they sweat like mad and the sweat runs down the walls. The entire dry bath/floor gets wet and guess who will be wiping it down anyway? 6 of one, half a dozen of the other!
