I guess my question was silly. I just cannot understand how the minor inconvenience of a wet bath is worth replacing with a loss of storage space or with the need for a bigger camper.
Jim, I think it depends a lot on the needs of the person. For me, I like the convenience of not having to wipe down the bathroom after a shower, and not having a wet floor for hours. I just spray a couple squirts of disinfectant in the shower so it dosen't mildew and walk away. If I was always in a really dry climate, it would dry quicker and not be as much of a concern, but lots of times I'm in humidity, and things take a long time to dry. I too mosly dry camp, so I can do the quick 1 or 2 gallon shower, but when I had my wet bath Lance, I still splashed all over.
As far as giving up storage for the dry bath, I already have more than enuff. I go out snow-birding for 6 weeks to 2 months, and have surplus space after packing my stuff. Big camper: yes! I like my big AF 1150 camper for many reasons, and have no desire to go smaller, especially if it would mean giving up my dry bath. My diesel dually doesn't care how big the camper is. If I was an off roader, it would be different. I do go off road a little, but don't go out on small trails, or bumpy paths. I can still park just about anywhere. For me, there is no benefit to a small camper, or a wet bath. Obviously, others needs will vary.
