Hi Kayteg, what you need is to replace the curtain rod with one of those that articulate in and out by as much as 8 or 10 inches. Lance is putting them in the newer units. They work great for giving you a bunch more shoulder and upper body room.
I actually have saved bookmark for one of those rails, but original curtain has a rail screw to the ceiling every few inches and looks like routing is forced by roof vent.
I still might comeback to the project.
I remember when my 1121 was Lance’s flagship model, and the brochures described its “spectacular bath”. I couldn’t believe a TC could have a dry bath as nice as this. The 1121 was soon eclipsed by the 1161, but it also had a “spectacular bath”. Why? Because it’s the same bath used in the 1121!
I had the same issue with the shower curtain in my 1121, the track screwed to the ceiling was too far inside the shower pan. I just unscrewed the track and moved it as close to the vent fan as I could, gaining an inch or two of elbow room. Yup, there’s a few unused screw holes in the ceiling now. Don’t care. That’s why god invented caulk. Of course if yours is already up against the vent........... never mind :p
