dry truck weight
A friend has a 2012 F250 diesel, crew cab, short bed 4WD srw. Can anyone tell me what the dry rear axle weight is? I'm guessing around 3000 lbs, but wondering if someone has a better number. I suspect he is exceeding the rear GAWR.
Another question to Ford owners, why does the sticker on the door post list max. inflation of 65 psi? Tires are LT275/65R20E and that is the tire size shown on the sticker, but Ford says both front and rear should be inflated to 65 psi even though the tire sidewall states 80 psi. So my friend has been using 65 psi further over stressing the tires. My GM sticker shows 55 psi front and 80 psi rear.
Thanks
