When shopping for a RV we start by looking at the brochure dry weights and floor plans. Then we look at the GVWR to make sure our TV vehicle is well within the range of the TT weight. We like to be 2,000 pounds under the TV total weight limit. With our current TT we are about 8,000 pounds under as our TV is rated at 16,500 pounds towing. Sure makes going up hills a breeze.
Have notice that the dealers are now saying that the yellow sticker dry weight is the TT weight as it leaves the factory door. Seem to be true as I have noticed that the same model RVs have different weight posted on the yellow stickers.
