Why make all this TV stuff complicated? The fact remains that some folks are quite satisfied with a TV that fits their needs.
Other however want the biggest baddest toughest machine they can afford.
Personally I have driven pickups since the 1970s including the Rangers, a Dakota, a Chevy and several F-150s. All over 100,000 miles and several over 200,000 mile.
I gave my 2002 F-150 to my grandson who now has 230,000 miles. It will rust out before it stops running.
I use my TV for its rated load, maintain it as recommended and care little if there is something bigger and stronger rolling down the road. I gave up magnum loads, high dollar gym shoes, booming stereo speakers about the time I graduated from high school.
I am perfectly content with a TV that does the job.
