Don't get too hung up on any single weight statistic when it comes to TV suitability. Literally all things must be considered. Payload capacity, towing capacity, et etc. something else to keep in mind is do you want to be right at your vehicles limits or do you want some margin. I'm. A big fan of margin. In my case a 350 series was likely to be on the edge so I went bigger. Btw, don't pay too much attention to published pin weights. They are likely to be off. If I recall my 5vers published weights is somewhere around 3,500, and in reality comes in at 4,300 lbs.
I drive my truck every day and I park where I wish. I take it through drive thrus, ATMs, you name it. The idea that the dually fenders limit you is false. If your mirrors clear, so will your fenders. The only place I have to be concerned (so far) is parking garages and that is mostly due to height. Most will clear but every once in a while I find one that I could get wedge into if I wasn't on top of things. This has little to do with being a dually and everything to do with just being a truck.
