Dually Ram 3500 daily driver for eleven years and 140,000 miles. No extra issues with the dually except at tire time, of course. I am not a big parking garage person nor do I frequent drive thrus. So, for me the dually is a non issue as a daily driver. Duallys are no longer than the same truck in SRW configuration. The mirrors on a SRW truck extend farther out than the dually fenders. However, get the diesel. You will not regret it. Exhaust brake and tractor like incredible pulling power. If you like smiling, the diesel will put a smile on your face every time you take it out. You will look for excuses to drive your truck. No kidding.
