I still don't get the DRW gasser concept :H :R
My first DRW was a gasser (Chevy Silverado 3500). Drove it a while, nice truck. But then I traded for a DRW diesel Chevy Silverado 3500 and REALLY wondered why I settled for the gasser the first time? So, my 3rd DRW, also a 3500 Silverado (bought new) had to be a diesel. Thinking back on the gasser???? I still wonder why I settled for it?
Maybe because in my previous 50 years of life, I'd only driven gas vehicles and never had experience with diesel, other than the big 18 wheelers??? Maybe that's why "gas" DRW'ers are around.... for those in (transition) ... from gas vehicles to diesel DRW-ers!
I really do think the "gas" variation are around... specifically for those who are not ready to switch to diesel yet. Lots of reasons folks might not be ready to switch to diesel. I think the #1 is, if you've been a gas driver all your life, you just don't think diesel will operate as well as gas. (boy was I surprised the performance was MUCH better!)
