I bought a dually gasser because our TC is 96" wide and has a 26" deep slide. The camper fully loaded with water is just under 5,000 lbs. and I don't think I need a diesel for that load. The diesel option was more money, diesel maintenance is more money, my truck can sit garaged for up to 5 months and diesel fuel use to be more expensive than gasoline.
