I have had an F350 diesel dually that I used as my daily driver and I have an F550 diesel dually that I drive a lot, but that doesn't count 'cause it's my plow truck.
However, I drove the F350 in Ewe-stun, not the friendliest city to get around in. I made a practice of not going through drive throughs: mostly because of the length (Crew Cab + 8' bed was long), partly because it took some close attention due to the width.
Parking was not as easy as the Prius, but no worse than a SRW Crew Cab with 8' bed. I didn't like the turning radius of the F350 but fast forward 4 years and the F550 turns much sharper: either the different model has a different tire cut or they've changed it in the intervening years.
If the dually is available, I'd suggest that the "daily driver" factor is a non-event. When I used the F350 I had a 4.3 rear axle ratio: unloaded, I'd get about 14 mpg (mp diesel); loaded with a 16k 5th wheel, I'd get 12mpg around town, 13 mpg on the highway. Oh the agony of reduced mileage. :) The only time mileage varied any more than that was when I wanted to show off and pull the trailer at 65 mph up a few passes in New Mexico and Colorado: Truck did it just fine, but one could almost see the fuel gauge move and could see the trans temp inching up....back off just a bit, no problem, but the MPG was in the single digits.
