I am reading that front tires wearing fine at 27,000 miles.
Rear tires almost worn out.
If so this is strange to me. Just changed tires on my dually and all were worn the same (front and back both).
I used to run 10 lug 22" wheels with Nitto Terra Grapplers on my '06 Dodge dually. I never rotated them. Mine would pretty much wear the same way. I'd get close to 40k on them with no rotation whatsoever. The very first set that I had on there, I was surprised too, that the rears were worn more than the fronts. But I had figured out that because they were the drive tires, that would wear faster,...especially since it's a 6 sp manual. Like was mentioned in one of the other posts,...you don't need to use max inflation,...especially on the rear. I would always run 70 fronts, and 55 in the rears. Every time I get my oil changed, I always have to tell those guys to leave my tire pressure alone, because the wanna put more in the rears than in the front.
