I have 27,000 miles on Ram dually and the rear tires are worn down to less than half tread left fronts are fine is this normal with dually's. I always keep tire inflated to the reccomended pressure.

What be that? what the tire Maximum inflation says or what it says on your door pillar? Run 80PSI on a dually you'll wear them out fast cause you don't need 4x80PSI to support most all RV's.
I myself wear out the front much faster since I don't rotate em
  • ???????

I am reading that front tires wearing fine at 27,000 miles.

    Rear tires almost worn out.

If so this is strange to me. Just changed tires on my dually and all were worn the same (front and back both).
  • Highway tires and no have not rotated. I do push snow in winter just my place and my Ma's but that was a lot this last year 700 ft driveway
  • You do not say what type of tire, highway, all terrain, or mud/snow tires, you are using. If they are highway there may be something wrong, but for all terrain and m/s tires 40,000 miles is about what you can expect, and from what you describe that is about what you will get out of them. Do you rotate your tires every 6,000 miles?
