Duramax battery removal
We need to change the batteries in our 2012 Duramax, & DH can't figure out how to get them out. Says they are both blocked by a bunch of "stuff". Not his exact words but you get the picture! Anyway...

as the battery is in the Rear of the car. under a panel.. and the rear hatch/door MUST be open to get to it.. but its LOCKED.... and there is no Key lock.
or some Chryslers cars.. and a few Corvettes. behind a front wheel.
in the Winter full of Snow and Ice.
as for brackets over top of battery.. to support front body work to side fenders.. cars have been doing this since the 1960's (its cheaper)
