There's a lot to be said for the Dmax fo sho.
Sure the Cummins lineage and reputation pre date the Dirtymax by 10 years, but comparatively speaking, Duramax should just become the big D like Cummins is the big C.
All mfgs suffered through the early tier IV emissions kind of equally and still are not 100% bulletproof but GM handled the pre def era I'd say better than the other 2.
I'd take the big C or the big D under the hood equally.
Bring on a long bed mega cab Duramax and that would be one of only a select few vehicles of the last 20 years that I would get in line to buy!
