Duramax L5P is here

I've been hearing about the increased hsp. and trq. for a while. Made me think I should have waited and bought a 2017 instead of the 2106 model I purchased last April. But, unless I'm reading the stats wrong, it doesn't seem to have much more towing capacity. Plus, I'm with one of the previous posters. I like a diesel to have a diesel sound. I don't want my truck to sound like my wife's car. Oh well, maybe I'm just envious.
