Duramax value
2011 duramax with 82000 miles for 31k. Is that a good deal? And were the 2011s durable or did they have problems with them?

- Seems high to me considering it's going on 9 years old.
- You can still buy a 3/4 ton Ram CTD with no bells or whistles for less than 50K.
I would buy new ! - I have a 2011 3500 with 98,000 miles on it been pretty much trouble free other than a couple of sensors. I would not sell it at that price.

- 2011 was the first of gen 5 duramax lml. the first year for def and cp4 fuel pump on duramax trucks. Also more horsepower torque and stronger frame for higher towing numbers. Yes there were some issues with some trucks have def heater issues and some cp4 pumps Grenaded taking fuel system at 10g plus to repair. I would buy that truck but only with a very good extended warranty. I’d say the same about the same year ford powerstroke.
- Being Your from Minnesota, my biggest concern would be rust. This trucks tend to get it bad rusting from the backside of the steel and then out right above the wheel wells.
- Depends on how it was maintained, you need to check the VIN for reports of damage too.
BTW you may want to edit the title of your post which says "Miramax"
