DVD speaker question for my 2014 Puma 31DBTS

I recently purchased a PUMA 31DBTS. It came with a swivel TV for the main room and Master bedroom. If you want to watch a DVD, you put the movie into the speaker unit, not the TV. The speaker unit has 3 settings (A, B, and C). A is for the bunk house and the master bedroom. Speaker B is for the main living area, and speaker C is for outside only.
My question is if anyone knows a way to just have the TV play in the master and not the bunkhouse. When I put the kids to bed, and I want to watch a movie in my bedroom, I don't want them to hear it. If I just watch TV (and not a DVD), I can get the sound to come from the TV unit itself, instead of the trailer's speakers. When I watch a DVD, the sound has to come from the speakers.

  • Our Palomino T-273 (Forest River product) has a Genesis 3.0 sterio that plays dvd movies. If I pull the unit out of the wall there are a number or rca jacks for video and audio out as well as audio in if you want to hook up an IPAD or something to play music through your speakers. Since you do not have audio outs maybe you can do what I did. I bought a new tv with built in dvd player as well as a sound bar with powered sub, the sound bar sits under the tv and sub is in cabinet under tv. Sometimes the kids want to chill and watch a movie while my wife and I sit by the fire listening to music over the outside speakers. The tv is RCA and soundbar is a Phillips, nothing fancy but does a good job.
  • Look to see if you have an audio out on the unit you play the dvd on and if you do run a cable from it to the tv.
