Here's my take.
I like the TC thing. Partly because it's one less vehicle to house/maintain, partly because I don't have to tow anything which makes it more mobile, but can tow the toys if that's what's on the docket.
And partly because I just think they're cooler than a "RV." Can't count the number of compliments on my 10-15 year old setup this summer. All the guys packing their family around in a milquetoast looking white box on wheels are like "sweet setup."
That said, hauling that little 860 AF is harder on the truck than towing a moderate size TT.
