My F150 was built in early May and the battery went bad last week. My warning was a message on the information screen when I would turn the ignition off with the radio on. The message would state that the radio was powering off due to a low battery.
Truck has 7500 miles and 1800 towing miles to date with no other problems. So I hope it just happened to be a bad battery. It was replaced under warranty without a question.
I'm not intending to start a rumor or bad mouth Ford as I love the truck I just want to let everyone know that there are warning signs.
