I have really bad luck with cars/trucks. That being said, I will never buy another GM or Nissan product. They seem to have a lot of problems but that's not why. The reason is that they will not back their products and will fight you on any warranty repair.
Now I've had Dodge and Ford and they have proven to take pride in their vehicles and back them up. Never had they ever tried fighting me on any warranty repair. Even though Nissan and GM have proven to be much more problematic than these 2, I have had some serious problems with them as well. The difference is that the problems with Dodge and Ford were none issues. They fixed them quickly and without incident.
The 2 companies I've been the most impressed with because they really take pride in their products and want to make the customer as happy as can be, is Ford and Jayco. Not saying that they don't have their problems because they do, it's how they handle those problems and their customers. ;)
