For many low-information people, no amount of reading the rest of thread will put that idea out of their head. Even if it was just a tire going flat due to road debris, they will continue to blame the engine.

Well at the start of the thread the OP did not know what was wrong with the truck right? Only the OP knows what his intentions were, not you or any one else!
As for your second statement, do you really think that is a true statement? I don't but to each their own.
A battery in a truck with 800 miles is not common thing and if you are not mechanically inclined you would not think it would be a battery. Given the fact this had been going on a for a week or so right?
Have to say the new Fan Boy group on here of late, needs to put their emoticons in check a little. Like I said it's a truck get over it!
