- pronstarExplorerMy truck can pull 8,000 lbs up a mountain faster than a Peterbilt 579, therefore my truck is the superior tow vehicle.
- DUO_COREExplorerThis video confirms that idiots hang in packs.

Whoever loses tracking first, loses. If the Ford has a locker like you say, a non-locker truck will not stand a chance so it's not even a fair comparison.
Very true. Here's a sweet little Land Rover diesel literally smoking a mighty Dodge Cummins. And yes, the Dodge is in 4WD, you can see tire smoke from the left front. Obviously the Rover has lockers and the Dodge open diffs.
The dodge is 2WD, look at 1:10-1:15. The right rear is smoking, and there is no movement or smoke from the front. - ib516Explorer IIMeaningless
- popupcampingExplorerI agree with others it is a stupid video and post. has nothing to do with Make, fuel, size it is ALL traction.

VW here smoking a Chevy diesel....bid deal
no difference than one man being able to push a 20000lb boat around in water. No friction no traction. Once the tires are spinning it is literally floating on the asphalt Ron3rd wrote:

- skipncharExplorerInteresting but really nothing but a traction contest. Of COURSE the EB has more power but it's traction that won all those pulls. Both have plenty of power to ow the other.

amazing torque
Eco Rules
You're incorrect in your assumption.
These tug of war contests are not about power...they are about traction.
Traction includes factors such as tire grip, compound, size of tire, etc.
Gearing also plays a part.
Weight over the drive wheels....another factor.
And of course let's not forget...driver ability.
I would think a moderately powered 4WD farm tractor on the correct surface may well out tow both the Eco and the Chevy...at the same time....because of these factors.
