Another ridiculous thread. Oil dilution is not an "issue", unless it amounts to something more than an internet discussion on it.
How bout this, Ford spec's 5w30 for the EB, and W20 for all the other engines, so even with slightly more fuel getting into the oil (typical for DI), it really shouldn't amount to anything.
One of the many things in life that only gets dwelled upon by folks that have, umm, ample time for navel gazing.....

I did a sniff test on mine yesterday after reading this thread. After 4000 miles the oil is blacker than I would have expected but didn't have an obvious, detectable gas smell to it. Yea, a scientific approach, I know.

I will have to confess that after 2 1/2 years of ownership this is the first time I have pulled the dip stick to check the oil. I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Yeah, same here. 5 quarts of semi-syn is $25 at the parts store. Plus filter, another quart, screwing around changing it, taking it back for disposal, and then rotating the tires. I'll let the dealer tech knock himself out.

Ford Recommends 5W30 Synthetic Blend or full Synthetic, just like most all of it's other Gas engines.

At my local dealer, the oil change service is 40 bucks, and includes the tire rotation, brake inspection, fluids refilled, Battery test, Etc.

Someone over on F150 forum just posted an oil analysis with 7k miles. Less than 0.5% fuel.

My dad owns a 2012 Ecoboost and has had no problems at all with about 20,000 miles. He is planning on buying a new body style 2015 F150 Ecoboost as soon as they are released to order.
I am personally waiting on a 2014 F35 DRW Crew Cab 4X2 PSD in Ruby Red to be delivered to the dealer the end of this week.

Sport how much is an oil change on an EB? Didn't I read that Ford recommends full syn oil for the EB? It cost far less to have your oil checked then it does to change it.
