ED Towing thread closed?

I had to look, and thank goodness it wasn't me :B

ED threads appeal to only a small subsection of consumers maybe? Just like the truck?

I can hardly wait for the Nissan diesel to arrive. Those Japanese inspired, built in the USA, fuel efficient, powerful, reliable, inexpensive, fast, safe, and beautiful rigs will no doubt put this argument finally to bed.

It was what it was.... I only see the usual suspects upset by it, and predictably, they sit on the Ram / Diesel side discussion. Look at the members of that faction, all arguments immediately get personal, a sign in any debate that one has lost. Maybe I should round up all the personal attacks from that group and make a thread out of that?

I don't see any Ford or GM trash talk smacked down, and how is it smack to point out some testing? Lots of the trash talk is cherry picked lunacy, and like or dislike TFL, they do accurately depict what happens in their own little world.

Keep repeating that and it becomes true? I was not hostile, nor was I rude to you (and who gets that upset over some random opinion on some random piece of machinery anyhow?) perhaps cheeky, as the truck in question was being built up beyond what it is. Nothing like empirical data to give clarity.
This reminds of the way certain political factions try to discredit opinions by calling them angry. It distracts and kills any rational discussion.

I didn't see a reason or any posts removed.

I don't know any MEN who's feelings get hurt so easily.
And no one wakes up with the inherent right to not get offended. As long as civility is maintained, it should not be closed. If there is a post that needs to be removed it should.
Offending the die-hard vitriolic diesel junkies, that post far more personal attacks in a day, than any of the so called haters do in a month.
Clearly someone needs thicker skin, or the mod own has (an) ED.

Posting an opinion that offends a vocal and sometimes caustic minority is not a valid reason to shut anything down. No rules were broken, but I gained insight as to why one side of the debate gets away with so much ad hominem.

I don't have a dog in this hunt anymore, but I do read the TV forum for entertainment.

I wouldn't do what Marty does for any amount of money. :D

PS- when the EB driver passes the ED driver climbing the grade, are they both happy? :B
