Electric advice needed

I'm far from an expert but it strikes me you are pulling too much power. I'd have someone in the know take a look at your power draw and try to work out what is pulling so much because it probably is malfunctioning or is something you can't realistically use in conjunction with other devices.

Check and make sure the receptacle at the campsite pedestal is in good condition. If it is loose it will cause arching and heat up and burn and melt your cord end.

The receptacle was worn and damaged your new cord/plug.
There isn't much you can do about this but here are a few thoughts:

If you have a 30A RV and can plug into 50A, use a "dog bone" adapter and do so. The 30A receptacles in many parks are worn out while the 50A receptacles are generally tighter and over built for only a 30A rig.

If you have a 50A RV there's not a lot you can do. When either a 30A or 50A plug (male side) is damaged, just replace the end, not the whole cord. Much cheaper and you may actually get a better connection than off-shore factories employ on the plug that came with your new cord.

Camco replacement plugs have very good internal connections and are relatively cheap.

I plug in at both. Only at home firb2!days before we leave for the fridge to get going . I USe an adapter so I can plug into wall. The problem is definitely at the campground. There's no adapter I should be using when plugging into campground correct ?

I probably could of fixed my last plug . I never thought of that and just threw it away . Thanks though !!!!

Most likely you are doing it at home when you plug into the oulet with the adaptors.

Happened to me that way. Almost burned trailer up.

This has happened two separate times, correct?

Take a close look at where you are plugging into when you are packing up at home. You may have plugged into a faulty receptacle or adapter two separate times at your home. However, it seems unlikely because the adapter would also look melted or distorted and burnt. You said you were plugged into a wall. To me that means a 15 or 20-amp circuit and not likely to damage a stronger 30-amp male plug.
However, just to be safe, replace your 15 amp to 30-amp adapter. They cost $3.50 on Amazon. Buy two, keep a spare. Toss the old one into the trash.

No matter what has happened or where it happened, you still need to replace the blackened 30 amp “male NEMA TT-30P plug”. No need to replace the entire RV cord this time, just replace the male plug on the end of the cord from your RV. They cost $12.50 on Amazon. Buy two, carry a spare. Throw the old one away.

Other possible causes of your problem, however they are less likely but can’t be ruled out:
• Loose or burnt connections where cord connects to RV wall. If you have that type of connection
• Loose neutral (white wire) at your power center/ busbar.
• Loose wire at your 30-amp breaker inside your trailer.
• Bad breaker connection on the buss bar in the power center.
• Leaving your 30-amp cord in the weather to deteriorate and oxidize the copper connections.
• Bad luck at two separate camp grounds with bad receptacles at the post. This could happen.
• Driving a vehicle over your power cord, enough times to cause issues.
Unfortunately, you don’t give enough information to give a reasonable diagnosis. Post a few pictures.

I think your problem is being caused by arching when plugging in and unplugging at the RV parks. You should be turning off the circuit breakers before plugging in. If you are then the pedestal is worn allowing the arching.

A 50 to 30 amp "dog bone" and using the circuit breakers should stop the problem.

You can clean the prong using as fine file and fine sandpaper, spread the 2 layers of the prong for better contact for a rerpair of minor damage.
